get a cutesy golden lab. tht wd never replace scottie but it wd help. run the back of ur hand or fingers up and down any dog's wet nose. tht also helps a little.

Oho. I remember the exuberance of Scottie. Cool dog. He growled with passion.
The worst part about having a pet is that they never last as long as we do, however, our love for them will outlast you both. Best to have some time to heal and eventually bring another friend into your life. Rest easy :)
